Don't forget to check out the post below, featuring our Spring Service Weekend flyer, and head over to Spring Service Weekend on May 19 to meet Southern Region Chief Harrison Fry (again if you went to Conclave!) at Camp Kiwanis at Pipisco Scout Reservation!
All of you Wahunsenakah brothers will soon receive an email updating you on what has happened so far in the Lodge and what's to come. This will be replacing the typical monthly newsletter.
Speaking of that, you can now view the newsletter from the Winter Service Weekend here using the button above!
The next LEC is March 12, 2017 at the same place and time. The agenda is there on the LEC page for all to view.
In lieu of the standard LEC Minutes supplemental video, I have compiled this video this month with a schedule for website construction and the new flow of information regarding the LEC Minutes, videos, and the Duck Calls Newsletter.
For those of you who don't like/watch these videos, the new schedule will be announced again during the next LEC and the website changes committed over the course of the week.
The January LEC Minutes have (finally!) been posted on the LEC page! Check them out there, featuring Henry Harris's notes from when he filled in for me. I just had a bit of trouble posting them because of other, ah, life stuff.

Happy New Year, friends! As we enter 2017, the Lodge is re-opening for the year with news about excellent opportunities for brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service!
"I am sending this email to all and anyone you might know in scouting
who would like to come to Pipsico Scout Camp on Saturday Jan. 14th
2017 for a much needed work day. That Saturday is a winter camping
merit badge weekend at Pipsico so several troops will be camping.
Ranger Jenny and I talked about a work day because in the past several
Adult leaders have shown an interest in doing some work for camp
The following is a few items that we plan on working that day:
1) Finish going thru items outside of barn and ether putting them in barn
or scraping items that are not usable.
2) cleaning all metal around maintenance bldg and put on trailer for
3) continue organizing maintenance bldg.
Also any other items that we can accomplish.
For all volunteer's who plan on coming to camp Jan. 14th please bring your lunch and drink/water
and we will meet at maintenance bldg. between 8 - 8:30am on Saturday."
Thanks for your support"
Also, an update on the proposed redesign for the website:
We hope to see you, and our future brothers, in action as we enter 2017 together!
The last minutes of the year are here, so check them out!
To de-clutter the LEC page from all the 2015 and 2016 minutes, and to make room for the Duck Calls, I have created a new page called "Secretary's Archive" which preserves the old documents and will be where the Duck Calls are accessible. The LEC page has been redesigned to make room for this.
Apologies for the delay - this wasn't the only long document I had to write this week, and that caused these to not come out until today.
Status on October Things:
These should continue to be posted throughout the day, and tomorrow.
So after they were mentioned two LECs in a row, we didn't actually have the Silver Duck or Founder's Award forms on the website. That has been corrected!
