Brothers, time is going by fast – already, it is within a month of Conclave and the late fee has set in. We have promised you a drawing for a free SOLAR CHARGER (at $150 retail value), a raffle amongst the first 150 brothers to register. Firstly, we are proud to say that Wahunsenakah is the first and only Lodge to have met its section goal of 150 brothers to register (at time of writing) AND we’re at 110% of that goal.
Keep an ear out from the Conclave Contingent Committee for word on this raffle drawing. Best of luck to the 150 of us in the drawing – I’m crossing my fingers myself.
Stay safe, those of us headed out to Camp T. Brady Saunders Cub Adventure Camp this weekend for the SR-7A Ceremonies Weekend. If it’s anything like last year, you can expect in-depth study of the various ceremonies, Conclave ceremonies evaluations, and insight from the creators of the ceremonies themselves.
Don’t forget also, just after the turn of this month, our Spring Service Weekend. Especially so, because this will contain our Lodge elections. Please forward any nominations you may have for the various lodge offices (Lodge Chief, First Vice Chief, Second Vice Chiefs of Program and Administration, Secretary, and Treasurer). For some of us this may have been our last term, and for others this will be the first of many – regardless, you can still have a major, positive impact on the lodge. Candidates not nominated and received by the April LEC must petition Lodge membership to run during the Spring Service Weekend – petitions must be received by closing of Saturday night dinner.
That’s all for now. Stay tuned for another chronicle of cheerful service with Wahunsenakah!
